Role Overview:

As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Padeia, you are crafting experiences that make data feel less like work and more like empowerment. You’ll be at the heart of our design efforts, collaborating closely with our Chief Product Officer (CPO) and the engineering team to create user-centric solutions that are as beautiful as they are functional.

Key Responsibilities:

• User Research: Conduct in-depth user research with empathy, understanding user needs, pain points, and behaviors, especially within the SaaS and data management space.

• Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop detailed wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders and the development team.

• UI Design: Design intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces that align with the overall user experience goals, demonstrating determination and creativity in solving design challenges.

• Collaboration: Partner closely with the CPO, engineers, and other team members to ensure that design solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical constraints, while fostering an environment of open and courageous communication.

• Design Systems: Establish and maintain a consistent design system and UI guidelines to ensure a cohesive look and feel across the product.

• User Testing: Plan, execute, and analyze usability tests to validate designs and iterate based on user feedback, showing preparedness in refining and improving the user experience.

• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers or cross-functional team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on SaaS products and complex data-driven interfaces.

• Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing your design process, including user research, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.

• Tools: Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.

• Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

• Mindset: A proactive, open-minded approach with a strong drive to innovate and push the boundaries of design.

• Education: A degree in design, HCI, or a related field is preferred but not required.
